About this Death Cafe
Both Donna and I are members of the St Petersburg Shambhala Meditation Center. We wanted to open this conversaton about death to the community, not just our center members.
Our opinions on death are varied. Come share your particular viewpoint and help to create an ever-deepening understanding of death and dying. We are not a therapy or grief group, but instead, an eclectic group of folks, old and young, who wish to dive into the adventure with a bit of seriousness and laughter. We provide coffee, tea and cake!
About Karen Marder and Donna Robbins
Karen Marder MN, ARNP, certified end of life doula and a retired medical professional. Karen held a Death over Dinner in her home last year and along with Donna, held their first Death Cafe last year.
Donna G Robbins, MA, MPH, CPC, CSD Life/Spiritual Coach, has lots of experience with those who are ill and / or dying.
