Licensed Funeral Director Paul Turner graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Washington in 2012 including some graduate level work. After graduation he taught and tutored mathematics and biology until he was ready for the next phase of his professional life. He also did volunteer work for the Providence Hospice of Seattle until he pursued an education in Mortuary Science at Lake Washington Technical College from which he graduated and passed his National Board Exams in 2015.
Having completed his apprenticeship, Paul is now serving families at Solie Funeral Home and Crematory as a licensed funeral director and embalmer intern. He is also trained in making pre-arrangements, crematory operations, and a variety of religious and cultural funeral practices in the Snohomish County area. He lives with his girlfriend and two cats in Everett. When not working Paul enjoys learning about languages, ancient history, classics, and the history of religion.
