About this Death Cafe
Our Death Café is a private place with a relaxed, open and safe atmosphere. We invite you to share with others your thoughts and feelings on the subject of death and dying within a discussion group of community peers. This is not a fAcilitated grief support or counselling session.
Our objective is to help families and or individuals to make the most of their lives by increasing community awareness of death and grief.
At Death Cafes, around the world, people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. As of today, there have been over 7,000 Death Cafes in 56 countries since 2011. You can learn more about Death Cafes here: www.deathcafe.com
The Death Café will be held at Boroondara Cemetery in the Albert Purchas Community Room. Numbers are limited so please book early.
