About Stephen & Jane Claxton-Oldfield
Stephen Claxton-Oldfield, PhD, CT, is an associate professor in the psychology department at Mount Allison University (MTA). His research interests focus on the people who volunteer in hospice palliative care settings. He also teaches a course on death and dying at MTA.
Jane Claxton-Oldfield is a long-serving hospice palliative volunteer, the former coordinator of a hospice palliative care volunteer program, an occasional research assistant, and a patient experience advisor for her local health authority.
