About this Death Cafe

The Viterbo University's Community Wellness student group will be sponsoring the event. The event will be hosted in a local coffee shop and open to the public. Students from three academic institutions have been heavily encouraged to attend, as a way to get younger generations involved in the conversation. The event will be structured as a "salon style" cafe.

About Cameron Kiersch

Cameron Kiersch is an assistant professor at Viterbo University's school of nursing. His interests include engaging young adults in the process of advance care planning, advocating for patients at the end of life, and educating nurses to be fully attune to patients' and families' needs during the dying process.
