About this Death Cafe

This will be our fifth Death Cafe in the Scarborough region.  The last four have been well attended events in which people have made new friends, enjoyed coffee and cake and had both moving and lively conversations about death and dying.

About Brigit Peacock & Mark Hancock

Brigit is a registered and practicing Human Givens psychotherapist. I enjoy life and have always been curious about what makes us, as individuals and as society, tick. 

I am passionate about rekindling the lost art of conversations about death and dying and look forward to sharing an open, respectful and honest conversation with you.

To date I have facilitated four Death Cafes in a variety of different venues in Scarborough.

This event will be a variation on the theme in that it will be a 'drop-in' Death Cafe and will be hosted by Mark Hancock, a funeral director in his new premises.
