I've been scared of death from when I was a small child when my grandfather died. No one talked about it.
50 years later, and after many friends and family members have died, I actually enjoy taking about it. We are all going to die - so why don't we talk about it?
I now work in the Death Care industry and find so many people are hesitant to discuss death and dying, and consider what it means for their friends, family, and community when they die.
This is why I am facilitating Death Cafes.
