About this Death Cafe

Put the kettle on and settle in for a lively conversation about death!

Third Thursdays of the Month
Free!

Co-hosts Jenny Wilde and Jaina Bee invite you to participate in our monthly third Thursday online circle, open to all folx who are curious and/or delighted to converse on the one thing we'll all have in common. Cake is encouraged!

A Death Café is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, and does not promote any particular beliefs. It is an open, respectful and confidential space where people can express their views safely, rather than a grief support or counseling session. And it is always free!

Death Café was founded by Jon Underwood, based on the work of Bernard Crettaz. Lizzy Miles was the first person to offer Death Café in the US. You can find more information at deathcafe.com.

About Jenny Wilde and Jaina Bee

Jenny Wilde (she/her) is an artist and herbalist, a witch and diviner, and a dreamer with her feet on the ground and her head firmly among the stars. Currently based in Portland, Jenny has lived all up and down the West Coast and had many peculiar (and often beautiful) experiences. She is in a long-term relationship with death and loves to talk about it.

What a long strange trip it [eternal recurrence].

Baba Jaina Bee (pronouns e/em) is an eclectic, polytheistic pagan and a High Priestx emeritus with the Starflower Pagan Congregation. E is a devotee of Paneros; the Metagender deity of the Tetrad++ pantheon. Baba Bee is a co-founder of the Divine Spiraling Rainbow Tribe and the Rainbow Moon Circle; Starflower's non-binary tradition and spiritual services honoring divine mxgender mysteries. E buzzes between the Salish Sea and the SF Bay Area, and would enjoy meeting everyone's familiars.
