About this Death Cafe

**Please keep in mind this is not a grief support group or counseling session of any kind**

I am hosting a Death Café and my co-host will be Debra Healey. Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Death.

This is an invitation to discuss what’s on your heart related to death and dying in a safe space.  Following the guidelines of the Death Cafe model, there’s not an agenda, just bring yourselves and we will let the conversations unfold.

We meet together with no judgment to discuss death and dying — one of our biggest conversational taboos — and rather than depressing or morbid we think you will find that talking about death can be a very positive and much needed experience.

Join us and grab a cup of coffee or your favorite tea and meet us on Zoom to discuss death. Remember, talking about death won’t make it happen!

All are welcome! Please join us for engaging and meaningful conversation.

Space is limited.

As a little bit of history. Death Café was founded by Jon Underwood based on the work of Bernard Crettaz. The first Death Cafe in the U.S. was hosted by Lizzy Miles and Maria Johnson in Columbus, Ohio on July 19, 2012.
