From a very young age I have been exposed to death. The death of friends, family members, and acquanitences. It seemed like I was always heading to a funeral, but no one was talking about it. Sure they would reminisce about the deceased, but no one was talking about death... Ever. When I found Death Cafe I knew I had found a home, a safe space to discuss something so prevelant in our lives yet only whispered about in shadows. Until now.
