Getting closer to understanding our relationship with death and dying happens simply by talking about it. This zero pressure environment is ideal for anyone from the mildly curiousy to the experiened death cafe go-er.
Please be respectful of each other and keep in mind that this is not the place for arguments or trying to change someone's mind. Anything said during a death cafe is said in complete confidence.
Most importantly, take some deep breathes, relax, and let your curiosity out.
About Morgan Yarborough
Morgan is a licensed funeral director in both Oregon and Washington. She started Our Own Hands, an outreach and education program in the Eugene?Springfield area and has since relocated to Washington, where she will continue her oureach initiatives. She has been hosting death cafes for about a year and a half.
