There’s an elephant in the room.
It’s Death.
Let’s talk about that!
We are all going to die. But in modern, Western culture, this truth is erased from our lived experience as much as humanly possible. Which is pretty ironic - for something so human!
Death is the only guarantee of our experience of life - so why do we recede around it? For most of us, the conversation is non-existent until it becomes non-avoidable. Considering the fact that our mortality is inextricably woven into the tapestry of our living, perhaps increasing our capacity to engage with this truth is something worth experimenting with.
