About this Death Cafe
A chat about death over coffee and cake is not everyone's cup of tea. But it could get people taling about a subject that is still taboo for many.
In our Death Cafes we aim to empower communitties with the knowledge, skills, confidence and support to engage with death, dying and loss. There is no agenda, objective or theme and we're not looking for any conclusions.
It's not a grief suport group, it's a group discussion led by those who attend, in a respectful and confidential environment and you can talk about anything to do with death, which after all unites us all.
Our cafes are run by volunteer facilitators.
