About this Death Cafe

This event will be hosted on Zoom

Inspired by an evening's discussion on the subject of death and dying at our local Buddhist Sangha, it became clear that there was a real need and longing for a space where people could talk on this subject more regularly.

So, we gathered a group of like-minded people and contacted some local venues. We found somewhere willing to host our Death Cafe, and decided to launch our first event as part of Dying Matters week. Then the Coronavirus hit, and lockdown started... we feel that now, more than ever, people need a space to talk about death, and so we decided to move our events online.

Space are limited. Please contact us to book a place.

About Bryony Wildblood

Bryony is an Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counsellor, as well as a full-time Mum.

Diana is a hospice palliative care nurse and Soul Midwife.

We met whilst working together at the same hospice. We are both passionate about opening up a wider conversation about death and dying, and believe there is a real need for people to talk openly about their thoughts, fears, wishes and experiences.
