About Jacqueline Conradie-Faul

Jacqueline joined the University of Bristol Multifaith Chaplaincy team in 2009 in her capacity as Director of Bristol International Student Centre (BISC). In February 2020 she moved on from her former role at BISC to take up the role of International Student Chaplain at the University of Bristol, while maintaining her strong links with UWE. Jacqueline has been actively involved with international student work since completing her MA in Cultural History in 2001. Originally from South Africa, she spent four years in Germany before moving to Bristol in 2005 with her husband, Charl. Jacqueline is passionate about supporting international students and places a high value on building relationships unconditionally and without prejudice. In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys offering hospitality, travelling, walking in the countryside, doing graphic design, interior design and fine arts.
