About this Death Cafe

This is our very first VIRTUAL Death Cafe, as all our Death Cafes have been in-person. We will host this Death Cafe via Zoom. You MUST RSVP using the link provided as we are capping this Death Cafe to 18 people. Once you RSVP you will receive an email with the login information and password for the Zoom Death Cafe. PLEASE do not give this information to anyone. We won't allow people in who have no RSVP'ed as we want to be fair to those who have signed up to attend. We will host more virtual death cafes in the near future so more people can attend!

Thank you to Community Home Health & Hospice for their continued support. This is where our Death Cafes are held when we're not practicing social distancing!

About Meagan Hope

Meagan Hope is a certified end of life doula, palliative companion, and death & dying educator. In 2018 Meagan started a new businesss, Bridges End of Life Services and the "It Takes a Village" project and Facebook group to help raise awareness about death and dying in our culture.

Her calling to help people at the end of life started when she was just 8 years old. She watched both her grandparents end of life journey for nearly 25 years and helped with their care. Last year her neighbors were dying and she helped them both at their end of life and she saw just how needed community is at the end of life. Meagan's favorite quote is from Ram Dass, "We're all just walking each other home."
