About this Death Cafe
Dave and I have developed a group process which lets every participant express the death-related topic they are most interested in discussing and then matches them up with others who have the same interest. The process is brief enough so that everyone has plenty of time to engage in meaningful conversations with their group. Folks are free at anytime to get up and join another topic group. People seem to love it and we continue to have people asking us "When's the next Death Cafe?" Our events are sponsored by the North Fork Senior Connection.
About Steve Lyons and Dave Knutsen
Dave Knutsen has a background in human resources. Steve Lyons has a background in group therapy and resource consulting. Both are active meditators with decades of experience.
Together they have led over half a dozen Death Cafe style events.
