About this Death Cafe
Death Cafés are part of a global movement “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of our (finite) lives”
If you would like to meet in a safe space to discuss your thoughts and feelings about the end of life please join us to meet with others of a like- mind. This is not an occasion to share the grief of recent bereavement but a chance to talk about issues like what kind of a funeral you would like, where you would like to die, what you need to do to prepare or whatever interests you about death dying. Tea, coffee and cake will be available so we can gather in an ordinary, friendly environment. The meeting will be facilitated by Steve Killick and Gilly Adams, both of whom are experienced at hosting this kind of event.
Entrance is free but donations towards the cost of refreshments would be welcome. WE would like to point out that although this event is taking place in a Buddhist Centre we are not affiliated to any religion
