About this Death Cafe

This event has been cancelled due to COVID-19 prevention protocol.

We have now completed our sixth season of hosting Death Cafes on Salt Spring Island.

Hopefully next year in April we will  continue with our Annual Cemetery Walk at 1-2 pm with Dave Phillips at St Mark's Cemetery on Baker Road, Salt Spring Island.

Stay tuned for release of the 2020/21 Death Cafe dates.

Thank you to ArtSpring for providing the space and refreshments, and to our wonderful Salt Spring Hospice facilitators. Also thank you to Made in BC-Dance on Tour as sponsor for this community event.

Death affects us all - fear of death and not talking about it can be immobilizing.

We need to talk about it to live our lives fully in the moment and to move forward.

All are welcome who are interested in life and death.
