About this Death Cafe
After taking a gerontology class called "Death, Dying and Bereavement" we realized the importance of creating a safe place to talk about death. we provide educational and experiential learning activities for a membership of 1600+ older adults.The first Death Cafe is a test to see how it goes, but we have a waitlist of 68 people who want to attend. Obviously there is a strong need for this kind of community based experience.
