About this Death Cafe

Death is not just the end of life, it is very much a part of life. But the topic is usually shunned into the shadows. I work with helping people connect with their shadow side in my life coaching. Bringing the parts that are hidden into awareness, and so I would like to bring death to the forefront. 

I will bring an open forum enhanced by poetry and stories where relevant. I will mostly ask why are you here? What draws you to a Death Cafe? 

About Lisa Diane McCall

Lisa is a Certified Life Coach and also trained as a hospice, bereavement, and end of life doula volunteer with Gilchrist Hospice. She has a masters in international health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health with over twenty years experience working with HIV, cancer, and people who have a history of injection drug use. Lisa has traveled extensively, using an anthropological eye to learn about cultures and societies. She holds a safe space for people to feel comfortable to express themselves. She understands the importance of being seen, felt, and heard.
