About this Death Cafe
Though this Cafe is fully in line with Death Cafe principles, model and guidelines, it is being offered on Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of the Christian season of Lent when the imposition of ashes is meant to remind us of our mortality. To be clear, there will be no imposition of ashes, nor will there be any form of worship or proselytizing. Rather, in a time when so many long to talk about death, which is generally a culturally taboo topic, we offer such an opportunity for anyone who wishes to join us. Use the rear "Rotunda" entrance of the building, and the Auditorium will be directly in front of you.
