About this Death Cafe
Death Café is a one-hour group-directed gathering in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with refreshments, allowing us to share a respectful, engaging, thought-provoking and life-affirming conversation on topics related to death and dying. The objective is to increase awareness with a view to lessening the fear of death while enhancing life. It is a group discussion rather than a grief support group or counseling session.
During the distinctly separate second hour, Cathy will talk about how her work ties into the Death Positive movement and the emergence of non-medical support services available to those with serious or terminal illnesses and their caregivers. There will be time for a Q+A and resource sharing.
Space is limited, please RSVP to cathyhope18@gmail.com
