About this Death Cafe
This will be freeform discussion. Our last discussion coverd topics from what happens to consciousness after death, what happens to a body after death, to whether or not there is a generational shift occurring in the way death is dealt with.
There are no refreshments provided but beverages and pastries are available for purchase.
As facilitator, Madeline ensures everyone gets a chance to speak and will prompt with questions as needed. But it is usually not needed!
About Madeline Bakewell
Madeline is excited to have Meg Heather Ford as a co-facilitator, who is a Birth and Full Spectrum Doula, knows how to support a crisis, and brings ritual into life.
Madeline is a Death Doula in Training who has companioned many people who are terminally ill through her personal life and volunteer work, and has supported rituals such as a home funeral. She is committed to reintegrating death into our community and believes that Death is a great teacher.
