About this Death Cafe
Death Cafe Sierra Madre seeks to provide an unscripted, non-judgemental space for those wishing to share fears, questions, reflections and experience on death and dying. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than having an open and safe space to be in community while enjoying tea and cookies?
About Michelle Mondia
Michelle Mondia is a certified death midwife who has been studying the ways in which our society receive death. She's held several grief workshops, faclitated conscious dying discussions and currently volunteers at a pediatric hospice. She trained under and work as a guide for Sacred Crossings, inspired by the work of Francis Weller, and is curious about meeting others in her community to talk about death and dying.
