About this Death Cafe

Memento Mori Arlington Death Cafe. This is an opportunity to gather with others to talk about life, death And what matters.

What:  Memento Mori Arlington Death Cafe

When:  Saturday, January 11, 2020  from 2-4 pm

Where:  Marvelous Cakes and Pastries

               2415 Abram Street, Suite 126

               Arlington, Texas  76013

(This is between Bowen Road and Fielder Road in Arlington, not far from the place we met last time.)

This delicious little cafe serves coffee and tea, and all kinds of treats for purchase.  Check them out on-line.

They have a public space that we can use while enjoying their wares.

 I read this interesting quote:

Albert Einstein wrote when he learned that Michele Besso, his closest friend for more than fifty years, had died...” Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me.  This means nothing.  People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”  What do you think?

I hope that at the beginning of the new year you’ll have some thoughts about what you hope for yourself in 2020, and what you’re doing with your “one, wild and precious life.”

About Theresa Luby

I worked for 30 years with hospice patients and their families and now, in my "elderhood" I'm interested in continuing the kind of meaningful conversations we shared about life and death and what matters most in people's lives.  If you are interested in open, honest conversation, come join us.
