About this Death Cafe

Welcome to the first Death Café by Transhälsan! With regard to Transgender day of remembrance we invite you to a loving and open talk on death and how we can make the most of our lives. Death Café is a concept founded by Jon Underwood where people on equal terms come together to talk about death and eat cake. It is a place without intention to lead participants to any specific conclusion and non-profit. It is not a professional space for grieving counselling or therapy, if you have need for that you should seek it elsewhere. 

This Death Café is open to trans people and our near ones. You who are trans can bring someone who is not trans in your company. You who are cis and not coming together with a trans person is not welcome this time. 

We will offer coffee/tea and cake (vegan and gluten free). Be on time because we will close the doors soon after opening ot ensure a safe space for the participants! You don’t have to stay the whole evening. The café will be in swedish and/or english depending on the needs and wishes from the group.
