The first Death Cafe in Israel was a Blast

A write up of Death Cafe TLV

By DigitalDust

The first Death Cafe in Israel took place in Tel Aviv in February 2015.
It was an exceptionally cold, windy, dusty, rainy evening, so we were pleasantly surprised with the number of people who turned up in this weather: 25!
We were worried there would be moments of awkward silence, but I don't think there was a single minute of silence during the two hours long Death Cafe.
The attendees were divided into small groups - 4-5 people in each - and every 20 minutes were encouraged to switch places and sit with new people.
Spirits were high and as the event progressed, you could see how people loosened up and felt more comfortable to share, talk and laugh.
We're looking forward to the next one!
