About Jeff Buck:
Ageing atheist still searching for the meaning of life... and death, but not really sure that there is one.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
As the inevitability of death comes ever closer with age, I wanted to have a conversation about it... but no-one seemed willing to talk openly. I'm hoping that hosting a Death Cafe will help to start that conversation.
Thoughts for sharing:
“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
