About Shantell Riley:
I am a registered nurse, mom of three young men (my oldest was murdered in 2016), a grandmother to his son who is three, and an End-of-Life Doula. I have an appreciation of death. I have developed a mission to want to ease the burden of others on things related to end of life. I have recently created a nonprofit to assist with enhancing the wellbeing of individuals in underserved communities.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I am passionate about helping people be "uncomfortably comfortable" with death and creating space for those wanting to talk about it. I love the model and would love to bring it to my community.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I would like the community that I reside in to know that people do care.

I came across this when I was researching End-Of-Life Doula profession. I am passionate about helping people have an "uncomfortable comfortable" and providing space to talk about death. This aligns with everything I would like to do.
I am wondering how does everyone advertise first meet ups?
