Mark is a licensed funeral director and embalmer of 24 year. After managing funeral homes, crematories, and cemeteries for 22 years in the State of Colorado, Mark is an instructor of Mortuary Science Education is Seattle, Washington.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

Death Cafe was identified at the Washington Cremation, Cemetery, and Funeral Association Spring College (Convention) in March of 2014. An attention grabber, registering as a member became a high priority.  

What would you like your legacy to be?

Legacies are multi-faceted changing as we grow. If you had asked this question of me as a young man, I would have responded that my legacy were to be a rock star. This is not true today.

Actions speak louder than words. A person's legacy becomes evident as acquaintance grows into friendship.
