I have been facilitating Death Cafes for the last 2 years under the guidance of Kit Racette who started Death Cafes in Montreal. It never fails to amaze me how eash and every get-together is enriching. Participants who attend are often very generous with what they choose to share making these a 'do-not-miss" events

J'anime les Death Cafés depuis 2 ans sous l'accompagnement de Kit Racette qui les a commencé ici à Montréal. Chaque rencontre est unique et enrichissante. Les participants sont toujours très généreux avec leur témoignage ce qui rend un Death Café incontournable!

What brings you to Death Cafe?

... the deep conviction that by acknowledging our own death, we can make better choices in life and therefore live a more enriching life! By opening up on the topic of dying and talking about our own we can ensure that when our time comes we can receive the care and support we need and want.

... la conviction inébranlable qu'en faisant face à notre mortalité ceci nous permet de prendre des décisions plus réféchies qui nous aménent à faire des meilleurs choix et à vivre asvec plus d'intentions. Aussi, en faisant connaitre nos volontés en fin de vie nous nous assurons de recevoir les soins et le soutien dont nous avons besoin.

What would you like your legacy to be?

...that each person who attended a Death Café would spend time pondering their mortality, think about their needs and talks about it with family anf friends.

...que chaque participant au Death Café prenne le temps de considérer leur fin de vie, identifie ses besoins et en parle avec ses proches.
