Dr. Gina Belton is the primary Facilitator for Death Cafe Humboldt. Gina Belton PhD is an emerging Indigenous Scholar, end of life community educator and grief specialist.
Dr. Belton serves those desiring to deepen their capacities for journeying through the complexities of life threatening illness, aging, grief and loss.
Death Cafe, Humboldt meets monthly and unfolds in the spirit of play, story, safety, courage and compassion.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
"Animae Mundi Colendae Gratia" translates to "for the sake of tending to the soul in and of the world". My work meets this intention by tending to the soul of community, particularly in the soul making work of tending to end of life relationships.
Valuing the gifts arising from collective wisdom, I am drawn to the Death Cafe as a group and community process for nurturing diversity in discourses around the endless topics of our mortality.
