Rose is a mother, wife, and Research Associate at Summa. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, she studied Sociology and Anthropology at Kent State University (BA 2010) and Public Health (MPH 2014). Rose works with several area non-profit agencies and currently lives in Kent, Ohio.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
It’s noticeably unnatural, the way that we’ve sterilized and concealed the act and process of dying in our culture. Restoring visibility to this part of the cycle of life can only benefit us.
What would you like your legacy to be?
I’d like leave the world a better place than it would have been had I not showed up.
