I am a shaman. I love Life which is difficult without loving Death. Or at the very least accepting it.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Je n'ai jamais vu la Mort comme tabou, et on me l'a souvent reproché. J'ai longtemps eu du mal à trouver des gens avec qui parler de la mort simplement, y compris de la mienne.
Le mouvement Death Positif me plaît beaucoup et j'aimerai y apporter ma petite pierre.

I never saw Death as a taboo, and I was often criticized for it. I had trouble for a long time finding people with who I could simply speak about Death, including mine.
The Death Positive movement speaks to me and I would like to play my part in it.
What would you like your legacy to be?
D'avoir aidé à construire un monde où notre corps nous appartient réellement et où on peut en faire ce qu'on veut, dans la vie comme dans la mort.

It went well but I since we were only 6 I didn't explain or enforce clear rules about sharing speech, staying on topic and such...
And there was someone difficult to deal with on those fronts. I'll be a more active facilitator next time, I've seen why it's so important !
Apart from that it was great. People were enthousiastic, asked me about a next one, said they'd try to bring relatives and friends...
We jumped from topic to topic (grieving, fear of loved one's death, dealing with bodies, end of life....) as if we needed to speak of them all urgently. I ...
