About this Death Cafe

I have experienced loss of close family members first hand, having lost my father in 2009, my best friend in 2010, and my mother in 2012.

This will be a special Death Cafe because prior to starting the Death Cafe at 2:30pm, we will be showing this summer's Illuminations Film Festival premier film, produced by the Chopra Foundation and IONS, "Death Makes Life Possible" at 1:00pm.   Showing will be limited to 25 persons, reservations in advance, due to film licensing requirements. Those who wish to view the film must arrive no later than 12:45pm to ensure we start the film on time. When the film has completed, there will be a 1/2 break to allow those just participating in the Death Cafe to arrive.  Our second Death Cafe in the 'Couv will run from 2:30 - 4:30pm.  Please bring a dessert to share!  Teas and coffee will be provided.  No charge.
