This will be a facilitated discussion session, opening a space for anyone and everyone to be involved in conversations around death and dying, rather than a bereavement or support group.

About Jane Iskander

Professionally Jane is a qualified Occupational Therapist and has a range of life experiences through her work in social care, health, palliative care and in her own life. Janes interest in Death Cafe has arisen through a concern that as a culture we often avoid talking about the scary topics and therefore find ourselves unable to have important conversations with loved ones.

Jane believes the more we talk to each other, the less difficult such topics become and through the Death Cafe, she wants to enable more of us to feel comfortable to have open discussions around our thoughts and feelings with our friends and families.
