About this Death Cafe
This is our first Death Cafe at this space, located in the center of Oak Park. It's easy to get to by Green Line, Metra or driving.
Free parking on the street or in the parking garage directly behind the building.
We'll have coffee and tea, along with pastries or cake of some kind. Or you may grab your favorite beverage from one of the several coffee shops on the same block.
Life is full of enough unexpected events. Let's be sure to create some nice ones along the way too.

About Roger Oney
In addition to a 17+ year career in technology, Roger has also done grief recovery work, coaching, energy work, and worked in the mental health field.
Growing from of all of these varied experiences, Roger feels strongly that we have too few opportunities in life to discuss death, loss, endings, and big changes in general.
He's also come to understand and deeply value the healing power of listening and being heard.
Hosting a Death Cafe allows him to bring all of this together in a way that doesn't push any agendas or try to sell anything to anyone.
