About this Death Cafe

The Oxford Ohio Death Cafe is open and free to anyone! Located in Oxford, Ohio we expect an interesting mix of college students from Miami University along with community memebers of all ages and backgrounds.

Located in the Fellowship Hall at Oxford United Methodist Church, the Oxford Ohio Death Cafe will follow the Death Cafe model! Yummy refreshments of cupcakes and pretzels will be avalible to accompany coffee, water, lemonade and great conversation.

Hosted my gerontology students from the Sigma Phi Omega honor society, we are excited to provide a safe, comfortable space for conversation surrounding end-of-life.

About Sigma Phi Omega at Miami University

The Oxford Ohio Death Cafe is hosted by students from Miami University who are members of the gerontology honor society, Sigma Phi Omega. Additionally, this Death Cafe is part of a week long event named Careers in Aging Week which is hosted by students from Miami University's MiamiAGE students.
