About Universal Unitarian Fellowship of Lethbridge
My capacity to give the best description of the hosts, per say is challenging as it's more of a community of individuals (The universal Unitarians) without a specific director. They have come to me, the facilitator with the desire to see one happen and to support me in facilitating the event.
I am Lindsay, I was raised to be very comfortable talking about death. Mother's day 2016 my mother passed away. I am so very grateful that we normalized death in our household, it was because of her insistence that we had the dialogue that she prepared me for the day she would die. Since she died, I have experienced a lot of different social situations, with people who were terribly uncomfortable with hearing that someone died.
I'd/We'd like to see more comfort in our society with talking about death.
