About this Death Cafe
Following the model developed by Jon Underwood (based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz), a Death Café is an opportunity for people to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. The goal is to “increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.”
This is not an end-of-life planning event, bereavement group or grief counseling. We hope that you will come with an open mind, prepared to discuss the topic of death with strangers in a safe and respectful environment.
About Anne-Marie Keppel
Anne-Marie is a hospice volunteer, former LNA for residential care, and is studying to be a Celebrant and Death Doula. She is a mother of three, lover of life and is an accomplished event planner.
