About this Death Cafe

'My PhD looks at cultural represenations of death in literature. Through doing this research it became clear that whilst people were interested in reading about death there were very few opportunities for people to talk about it. I came accross 'Death Cafe' when I was looking at the events for Dada Fest and it struck me that this is what I had been looking for! Fortunately, the research centre who fund my PhD - Centre for Humanities and Social Sciences of Health Medicine and Technology - agreed to sponser the event which means we can open it out to anyone who fancies coming along' - Morven Cook

About Liverpool Medical Institute

Morven Cook is currently working towards a Ph.D. in English Literature at the University of Liverpool. 

Adrienne Mayers is librarian at the Liverpool Medical Institution and assistant librarian at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
