This Death Cafe forms part of a Dying Matters Week 2017 event. The venue is provided by GreenAcres Heatherley Wood - a natural burial ground. The Death Cafe will provide a separate opportunity for death positive discussion over a cup of tea and piece of cake.

About Sarah Weller

Sarah Weller is a Soul Midwife, Home Funeral Guide and Funeral Celebrant. She is passionate about empowering people to make decisions about their end of life and offering safe space for the conversation to take place. A recent home funeral inadvertantly created a Death Cafe space for people to start talking about their views on death as they came to the house to visit the deceased and the family. This conversation is such a valuable tool for people to explore their thoughts on death and dying without any agenda. this experience has been instrumental in deciding to offer Death Cafes to keep this important conversation going.
