About this Death Cafe
DC-CLT meets monthly on Monday for lunches. See announcement or contact us to confirm days and times.
We're Shabbat conscious and adhere to Halal standards in our cooking. But, unfortunately, we DO NOT have kosher cooking facilities, so please feel free to bring your own meal OR ask us to accomodate you with a specific request; we have people who provide kosher food services.
Also, you’re encouraged to ask about how we might be able to support you in your Shabbat observance. Call 845-786-5674 and ask about sojourner options, especially our hermitage, and our community connections for kosher meals!
About Community of Living Traditions @ Stony Point Conference Center
Community of Living Traditions (CLT) is an intentional community of Jews, Muslims and Christians. Our mission is community engagement through radical hospitality, addressing social justice concerns, and discussion of death as an aspect of nature which affects how we relate to one another in our day to day lives; it's our relationship to death that can transform our perspectives of life for good or ill.
