About this Death Cafe

At a Death Cafe we drink tea, eat cake and discuss death in a safe space for sharing our understandings, ideas and experiences. We are all affected by death and dying in one way or another during our lives and it is the one certainty we will all face. If we don't talk about it, how can we understand it, plan for it, cope with it or cope after it?

The aim of a Death Cafe is to help to normalise talking about death by providing  a friendly environment where we can safely share conversation on this often taboo subject.

Please send a message to us using the box below, or book a place via Eventbrite, so we know who is coming.

Please come prepared  to spend about £6 or £7 on food and drink to make it worthwhile for the cafe owner who has given us the use of his room.   Arrive from about 2.45pm and order food and drink at the counter and come through to the private  room.    We will start at 3pm.
