About this Death Cafe

***This event is being offered as a part of the "Demystifying Death and Dying" series held by Welcome Home of Chattanooga, a non-profit recognizing a need for a shelter to serve those who are seriously ill and offering them a place to call home at the end of their lives.

Please check them out at http://www.welcomehomeofchattanooga.org/ and https://www.facebook.com/welcomehomechattanooga/***

The first Death Cafe Chattanooga was held in September 2016. It went so well that we held another one just over a month later and another in January!

We are now holding events quarterly, but due to the Being Mortal Screening being held on March 18th and Demystifying Death and Dying conference in April, the next cafe will be in May instead of April.

Previous cafes have been held at the Chattanooga Public Library but May's event will be at The Center for Mindful Living. We are excited to partner up with this venue to gather for our next discussion – afterall, death acceptance and death contemplation is a practice in mindfulness.

Our events are lively and positive! Please join us for tea, cake, & death. All are welcome.

Hope to see you there!
