About this Death Cafe
Gloria is a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant and specializes in writing and creating immersive Life Celebrations and memorials. It is her calling and life's passion to serve in this way. Gloria is also a Certified Professional Recovery Coach and a Certified Professional Coach. Gloria has a clear understanding of the giref process from her own life experinces, and hopes to explore and share that journey with others who have or who will experience loss within thier lifetimes. Yvette Taylor is a Licensed Pre-Need Counselor for a local Funeral and Cremation firm. Yvette is passionate about the after care of the loved ones and concentrates on supporting those who have suffered a loss and helping them to navigate and find thier way through a maze of grief and sometimes overwhelming 'To Do Lists' once a loved one has passed. Both of us carry a servants heart within us, and want to inspire, explore and help educate others on this life journey that we will all have to travel. Gloria considers her passion for creating and writing ceremonies at the end of someone's life a calling. It is a privilege and an honor when I get to write, create and conduct the tribute to a loved one's life. Each person's life journey is a unique experience. The loved one's story and the journey can live on in the memories of those that they loved, by fully telling their stories.
Through a blend of questions, elements from the person's life and other sensory stimuli, I help create an immersive environment where the loved one's life is truly honored in a laser focused and heart centered way. My work as a Life Coach, Recovery Coach, Speaker and Writer have contributed heavily to my own understanding of each person's unique contributions and journey throughout their life cycle.
