About this Death Cafe

Drink Coffee, Eat Cake, Talk about Death – caring & compassionate conversations about everything to do with ageing/death/dying. No need to book, just turn up. Hosted and facilitated by Max Mackay-James and Johnny Payne.

For everyone – no matter where we are on our life journey – this is a place for sharing our stories, and finding out more about Diealog support group activities in Bridport. We are open, honest and upbeat. Beginners welcome.

About max mackayjames

Max is a 65 year old GP doctor who helped found the Diealog project in 2012 and actively supports its “Supporting Each other for Life” grass-roots-up mix of community engagement and involvement activities. He has been involved with peer support groups for over 20 years, participating, peer mentoring and facilitating in a wide variety of social settings. He is an active member of two Diealog Groups currently.
