About this Death Cafe

We recognize that many people want to talk about death, but don't have an opportunity to discuss it in an open, respectful, dogma/agenda-free evironment with others who share their openness.  In a Death Cafe, any topic related to death is acceptable. We listen to each other, speak our truths and take comfort in affirming our place in our community among the living.

This Death Cafe is sponsored by A Little Help of the North Fork, an organization dedicated to serving elders and their neighbors in the North Fork Valley, Delta County, Colorado.

About Steve Lyons, A Little Help of the North Fork

This event is organized by, and will be facilitated by, branch team members of A Little Help of the North Fork.

Steve Lyons will host. His interest in death goes way back and includes explorations via graduate work in Transpersonal Psychology and a dozen years as a resident of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. This will be his third hosting of a Death Cafe/Conversations about Death event.
