About Anneke Rees and Tom Esakin

Anneke Rees holds 30 years of experience in the health care system, including as a palliative care paid-trainer and volunteer, and also on staff as a former Leader of Volunteer Resources for Providence Health Care - St. Paul's Hospital. She is currently a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders and a coach in their Executive Mentorship Program, and offers professional supports in hospice care.

 

Tom Esakin is formally-trained both as an interfaith spiritual director and in “Sacred Presence with the Dying”. He is the interfaith spiritual director at St. Paul’s Vancouver, St. Stephen’s West Vancouver, and St. Agnes North Vancouver Anglican Churches; offers spiritual supports through Reflective Presence-Consultants in Ministry, and is a member of SDI-Spiritual Directors International.
